Who we are

World of Twelve is a Dutch business run by Marco Algra, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under 42031111. Our store runs on Shopify.

These terms cover buying from us. Your statutory rights as a consumer come first, always. Nothing here limits them, and where anything here conflicts with Dutch or European consumer law, the law wins.

Buying

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract exists once we confirm your order by email.

We may decline an order. That happens rarely, and it happens for reasons like a pricing error, a garment that sold out in the moment between your click and our confirmation, or an order that looks like it's meant for resale. If we decline, we tell you and refund you in full.

We make our garments in small batches. When a size sells out, it's gone. We don't restock.

Prices

All prices include Dutch VAT. Shipping is shown before you pay.

If we publish a price that is obviously wrong, we're not bound by it. We'll contact you rather than quietly cancel.

What our garments look like

We photograph our garments as accurately as we can. Screens differ, and colour on your display may not match the fabric exactly.

We describe what we can verify. Where a claim about material or production isn't something we can yet prove externally, we say so rather than imply it.

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates. We ship within the Netherlands with PostNL.

Risk passes to you when the garment is delivered to you.

Our content

The designs, drawings, photographs, text and layout on this site belong to World of Twelve. Our designs start as hand drawings and they are ours.

You're welcome to share our images and posts as they are, credited. You may not reproduce our designs on garments or other products, use our name or logo as your own, or resell our material.

Your content

If you send us a photo, a review or an idea, you're giving us permission to use it in our own channels with credit. You keep ownership. Tell us and we stop using it.

Don't send us anything you don't have the right to send.

Links and third parties

Our site links to and runs on services from others, including Shopify, Mollie, Klaviyo and PostNL. We choose them carefully. We're not responsible for their websites or their terms, and where they process your data, our privacy policy says so.

Liability

We're liable for damage caused by our own failure to deliver what we promised, to the extent Dutch law provides. We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost time.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for intent or gross negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Automated access

Don't scrape the site, don't try to break it, and don't use it to send unsolicited messages.

If you run software agents that access this site on your behalf, have them identify themselves honestly in the user agent string and respect the site's technical restrictions. Don't have them pretend to be human.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to your order.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If we can't resolve something between us, the competent court in Groningen has jurisdiction, without affecting your right as a consumer to go to the court of your own place of residence.

You can also raise a consumer dispute through the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
